Positive Change Activity
Clear off your desks, and follow these instructions: You will practice using your imagination now. Close your eyes and imagine a vacation you would like to take. Picture where you will be, what you will be doing, and what you will be wearing. Feel yourself enjoying it.
Now take that positive energy and look at change in your life that has been positive or beneficial, change that you thought would be bad, but in the end it was not.
Now let’s try another exercise. Think of something positive you would like to see happen at work. Paint such a clear picture that you can feel yourself enjoying it. Close your eyes and imagine how you want things to be. Smile and enjoy it!
Remember, the single most important thing you can do to enjoy change is to see yourself gaining something better! Visualizing, believing in what you see, and getting emotionally excited about it is a very powerful way to get what you want out of life and reaching your goals. It can also help when dealing with change.
