Workers
As mentioned previously, workers need to take reasonable care to protect themselves and their co-workers from situations and circumstances that could cause injury or illness.
To fulfill this obligation, workers need to:
- Understand and follow the organization’s health and safety policies and procedures, as they apply to them and those who work with them
- Use the protective equipment required by the employer
- Work in a manner that that won’t hurt themselves or anyone else
- Inform the employer of anything they see that is unsafe so that the situation can be remedied
