Worker's Responsibility

Most workplaces have a procedure in place for reporting a health and safety concern. As part of an Internal Responsibility System (IRS), the health and safety concern reporting gives all employees a mechanism to report potential health and safety issues so they can be dealt with before they grow into a significant health or safety issue.

The health and safety issues identified could lead to injury to workers or damage to equipment, structures or property.
