Right-to-know Information Station
A number of workplaces use a Right-to-know Information Station to include information that workers need to keep healthy and safe. In some cases this is simply the place to put Data Sheets for Hazardous materials, but in most it includes much more information.
Potential Answers
- The current names and contact information of the Health and Safety Committee members
- The minutes of the most recent meeting
- A current copy of the Health and Safety Act
- Copies of relevant regulations
- Health and Safety Statement, Safety Policy and Safety Manual
- A current phone number for reporting Health and Safety concerns
- A Health and Safety Policy
- Any orders, compliance notices, notices of appeal or decisions issued
- The location of the first aid supplies
- The location or phone number of the company first aid attendant(s)
- Any other safety related materials while applicable and valid (e.g. safety bulletins and safety training dates)
